Blessed and Thankful

Hello, today is the last day of the Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter Blog hop and this is my last card of the week!  Wowsa, I did way more than I thought I would but there is something about making a coffee card, I think it's all the great inspiration I get from the hop!  Have you checked it out yet?  I will leave a link HERE if you need some good Coffee Card Inspiration!

Today I made a card with the BLESSED AND THANKFUL sentiment, because really, I am so blessed and thankful for all I have and the people in my life and some times I think life is so fast that we forget to be thankful for all we do have.

This card came together pretty quick because I used a sketch from a challenge I am in over on Scrapbook com.

I am so over the moon that most of my cards I used on this hop were made from scraps!  Yay me!! This entire card except for the ephemera, was made from scraps I had left from some other cards and layouts I did.  

I started off with an A2 size yellow/orange colored card stock, adhered that gorgeous pumpkin paper (it's almost a water color picture) to it.  Found some craft colored card stock and die cut a circle in the middle of it to leave more of that gorgeous paper peaking through.  I adhered the sentiment in the middle after inking it up, it was a bit too white so I toned it down with using some gathered twigs distressed oxide.  

I added a piece of washi tape for a pop of color, wrapping the washing all the way around the craft paper and added another sentiment and adhered it to the front of the card.

I pulled out the Simple Stories Farm Fall House ephemera pack that I had and made a cluster on the lower left side, isn't that tiny to go cup cute!  Again, it was a bit too white for me so I toned it down with some gathered twigs distressed oxide.
