Daily Cup

Hey guys, thanks so much for joining me today.  I'm up on the blog doing another card for Day 6 of the Coffee Lover's Fall/Winter Blog Hop 2024.

I'm so happy to say most of this was from my, laying on my table for months stash!  I LOVE when I can use up stuff that has been laying around for months...that being said I really need to start putting stuff away more.

I started out with a black card stock for the mat and then grabbed a cream colored textured piece of card stock out of my scraps stash to use as the base and the coffee sleeve.

I found this doily that has been sitting on my desk for months and used some walnut stain distressed oxide on it.  I also found those flowers I cut last year and thought they would be great to layer on to the doily.  I added some 1/2 pearls from Kat Scrappiness to complete them.

I used my favorite coffee die from AlteNew (boy that thing is getting a work out this month) and die cut a paper from, yeap, my favorite 6x6 paper pad from Brass and Bliss called JAVE GOOD DAY!  At this rate I will have gone through that entire pack...good thing I bought 2 of them!  I also die cut the straw from the same die set as the to go cup from AlteNew (FRIENDS FOREVER) and I popped both the straw and the to go cup on foam to give them some dimension.

I had this whip cream die from one of my coffee die sets and well it wasn't quite big enough to cover the entire cup so I die cut 2 of them, used some cloud whip with a few drops from my glitter pen from SBC and once it dried I added some more of the glitter pen for some added sparkle.

I stamped the sleeve with the sentiment and then inked the sleeve, adhered it to the cup, added a strip of news print paper that was in my trash bin...I mean we really don't throw scraps away do we...and called it done.

Well, that completes my card for the Coffee Lover's Fall/Winter blog hop 2024.  I here is a link if you want to hop along and for those of you who don't know how to link up, here is a link to one of my blogs explaining how.

Thanks for stopping by,

Kimberly
