Pumkin Spice and Everything Nice

Today is Day 7 of the Cover Lovers Fall/Winter Blog hop!  If you are not sure what that is, it's a fabulous group of ladies that hop along making amazing cards that are coffee/tea or hot cocoa themed cards.  This hop has been going on for 10 years and is hosted by the sweetest person ever, Amy!  There is a lot of work that goes into getting this hop together and running smoothly for an entire week and she is the backbone for sure!

If you would like to join in on all the fun (and prizes) or just need some great inspiration, here is a link that explains more about it.

Today I made a card using ALL stash except for the card stock that I just got from Tim Holtz Idea-ology.  I love it's metallic sheen! I used the orange color to blend in with my coffee cup.

Speaking of coffee cups, I have no idea where this one came from but it has been sitting in my Iris container with my FALL stash for a while and I forgot all about it!  I found it today and just had to make a card with it.  It has the same, almost identical color of the Tim Holtz card stock on the sentiment!  Wowsa, I couldn't believe it!

I did back the metallic card stock in black adhered it to my base, added a scalloped border that I cut from a die I have.  I reached back into that Irish container and pulled out some Fall vibes ephemera pieces and clustered them on top of a journaling card, adhered everything down and I was D-O-N-E!

This card came together super quick and I love it!  Do you ever have cards come together so quickly?  I usually take hours doing a card but the ones that just "fit" together so fast, I love!

Thanks for stopping by,

Kimberly
