Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge #44

Hey guys, I'm up on the blog with this adorable Coffee themed Christmas card especially for the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge #44.  Click here if you want to join in on the fun!

Today I started out with some really old Christmas paper from my stash that says Merry everything and Happy always...I love that.  I'm down to my last few pieces of it.  I cut it down to an A2 size card and adhered it to my card base.

I then went back into my stash and pulled some really old Echo Park Winter paper and used my postage die stamp from Scrapbook.com to cut a frame.  I do like these dies, the postage look to it with a stitched inseam, yes please!

So then I reached for my super old Gemini coffee stamp and die set...I've had these for a long time. I die cut the coffee cup, the scarf and the spoon after I added some ink from Vicki Boutin's Color Wheel and some spectrum noir alcohol markers.  I adhered that down and moved on to the cute penguin with the hat and sign.

So this stamp and die set came from Brass and Bliss...oh I just love them and discovered their cute stuff when doing a hop with the Coffee Loving Papercrafters and still buy from them...go check them out if you aren't familiar with them.

I stamped and colored (tried to shade but my shading skills are lacking for sure) this cute penguin and the sign and then I thought how cute would it be to cut a hat to go on top of the coffee to match the scarf so I did.  After I finished coloring it I popped the penguin up on foam tape and adhered it down and added the extra winter hat to the top of the mug.  I added a winter flower and some bling and called in done!

I hope you get inspired to get caffeinated and maybe make a card and enter it into the challenge.

Thanks for hanging out with me today,

Have a crafty day!

Kimberly
