Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter Blog Hop 2025 - That's What I do I drink coffee & I know things

Hey guys, I'm back on the blog hopping along with the Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter Blog hop.  Here's a link to join in... it's going on through the November 14th with lots of inspiration and prizes!

My next card (I've done a few so far) I found it on Pinterest and wanted to give it a go. 

I pulled out my Craft Consortium 6x6 paper pad called Metal Textures and used it for part of the base.  I cut it an inch and a half shorter than the A2 card size so you can see the inside of the card. I layered it onto black shiny card stock but before I did I added the twine and then adhered it all together.

I then took a 3D embossing folder that I got on Amazon and ran it through my embossing machine for 2 different size card stock papers in tan.  I layered the A2 size inside the card over another piece of black shiny card stock, the other size (3x3) I layered over the same shiny black card stock and adhered it together and to the base of the card leaving some of it overlapping the card.

I reached into my stash for this snarky stamp set I have had for ever and stamped the sentiment THAT'S WHAT I DO I DRINK COFFEE & I KNOW THINGS.  I love that!  I paired it up with a stamp of an iced frappe with whip that says A CUP OF GET SHIT DONE on the ribbon.  OMG, my snarky stamps crack me up!  I used my Spectrum noir markers to shade and color the cup and popped it on some foam tape; adhered both the cup and the sentiment to the front and called it done!

I do like how it turned out, what do you think?  Is this your kind of style?
