Oh the memories this is bringing back...I remember as a kid how excited I was to sit and watch THE GREAT PUMPKIN CHARLIE BROWN and all of the other holiday specials the Peanut gang brought to TV. My favorite was the scene where Charlie Brown keeps saying "I got a rock..." I still say that on occasion just to be funny.
Today I wanted to use an image from that scene and since I couldn't find a stamp I decided to download an image I found on line.
I also a 6x6 paper pack from Brass and Bliss called SPOOK-TACULAR , I used 2 different papers from this collection . I cut the HALLOWEEN background slightly under an A2 size card (leaving room to layer the black card stock under it). I then cut a 2" x 4 1/8" strip and backed in in black card stock. I adhered the strip to the left side, then placed the image, that I also backed in black card stock (this makes it pop more). Before adhering it down I placed 1 piece of card stock to the side of the image that was not on top of the orange strip so that it would be level (I am always forgetting to do that and then when I adhere it down it is wonky...you can definitely see the crease, so don't forget that step).
I then pulled out 2 some black sequence added it to the top and since the paper already had the word HALLOWEEN on it and the image had the quote, I was calling it DONE!
