Scraplifting CTMH - Happy Halloween Treat & Scraptober!

Hey guys, thanks for stopping by today!  Today I'm here doing a layout I lifted from the CTMH catalog (October - December 2021).  I'm just in LOVE with some of their layouts so I wanted to give them a try with my own stash...I mean we all want to bash our stash right?

Here is the layout in their catalog that I wanted to scrap lift.  It's the cutest ever Halloween layout.  I started out with stickers from Carta Bella, some Tim Holtz Ink, Echo Park Paper,  my 2" circle dies and I used some cart-a-parts.

If you guys want to see how this came together and everything else I used I'm including my YouTube process video below.

Don't forget SCRAPTOBER over at PIECE CRAFT LOVE.  She is having a HUGE SALE on so many collections of scrapbook paper, new bundles of Cocoa Vanilla and not one but TWO giveaways!   Click here to read her blog  to be entered to win a FABULOUS PRIZE!  All you have to do is answer a question she asks in the comments section on her Blog to be entered in one of 2 prizes she is giving away this month to celebrate SCRAPTOBER!

Also, don't forget to click the 10% Off (see the left side of my blog post) to get 10% off your ENTIRE order PLUS free shipping on $30 or more of fun craft stuff!

First Layout for Calvinball 2020!

Hey guys, I'm on the blog showcasing my double layouts that I did for CalvinBall 2020 this year!  If you don't know what CalvinBall is you are missing out!  It's a FB group that happens once a year, all month long (March).  You get a new challenge daily with bonus points, and the person with the most points at the end of the challenge gets bragging rights all year!  Last year I think someone had over 3,000 points!

Today I managed to squeeze out 12.5 points for this double layout.  I'm really feeling yellow this week...this is the 2nd layout I've done with yellow!  I will list everything below and include some links for you.

I started out with a 12x12 black heavy card stock for the back and added a paper from a paper pad I had gotten beginning of last year for both pages.  I was doing a lot of my son's baby pictures and this pad was all about babies.  To be honest I didn't think I would EVER use this particular page but...it works!  Then I added a heavy bright yellow card stock that I cut an each of each side so it fit nicely in the middle of that cute zoo animals page!

On the first page I used a cut file from Kreative Cuts Club and stamped using my awesome rubber stamps (sorry guys but I don't know the font on that) and used white pigment ink (another point for CalvinBall).  I added the black foam/sticker stars (that was a bonus point) had a super cool zoo sticker pack that included a puffy rhino.  It also included super fun circle letters in the same colors (which just so happens to match that amazing yellow card stock)!

I backed the photo with heavy black card stock and then added the frame and the epoxy flair (so cute right)?  Then I stamped the journaling square at the top.

On the second page I used the same black card stock to back the photos and used the foam/sticker stars, the cut FUN epoxy flair from Scrappin Happy Studio added the SATURDAY from sticker and finished it up with those cute zoo stickers I found at the dollar store.

Items I used:
FUN epoxy flair - Scrappin Happy Studio
Road Sign Cut File - Kreative Cuts Club
Foam/Stamp Stars - Dear Lizzy
Zoo Stickers - Dollar Store

Well that's it! Thanks so much for joining me on my blog for my first layout on the Calvin Ball Challenge!  If you haven't joined Calvin Ball 2020, head over to their FB page (from March 1st March 31st).

Happy Scrapping!
