This week's challenge is #183, SAY CHEESE & SMILE. Here are the parameters of the challenge:
3 images of your choice, 2 pattern papers, 1 sentiment that makes you smile.
Today I am doing a card I made with the YOU'RE THE ZEST stamp set from Lawn Fawn. The sentiment Squeeze the Day always makes me smile! It includes this cute lemon with different smiley faces...I mean too cute right?
I started off with an A2 size lime green card stock to match the bright colors of the Doodlebug pattern paper I used. I mean how cute is that paper!? I cut that slightly smaller than the lime green and adhered it down.
I went into my nesting dies of tags and cut 2 different size and style tags in coordinating colors and addend twine. I also went into my stitched circles and found the perfect size, cut that and inked it in SQUEEZED LEMONADE just to give it a little color.
I found these cute little leaves in a die pack and cut them using the same color card stock as the card. I grabbed one other stitched die to use on the sentiment and adhered it down and BAM! Done.
This card came together super fast and ticked all the boxes on the challenge so I am super happy with it.
