Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter Blog hop - Brewing up good vibes

Hey guys I'm here with another card for the Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter Blog hop.  Here is the link to join in and have fun or just get some great inspiration from all the ladies!

I'm using my Marci Coffee stamp for this one but decided to do a little paper doll dress up like we did when we were kids.  I stamped her on a pattern paper for her top and then stamped her again for her pains and cut both and glued her to a full stamp of her.  I used my Copic Markers on her boots, hair and skin.

I added tom scraps from my stash, a sentiment stamp from La La Land Crafts and some fall leaves I die cut and inked up and lastly a border die for the top.

Thanks for stopping buy and hanging out with me for this hop.

Have a crafty day!

Coffee Lover Fall/Winter Blog Hop 2025 - Brew in Hand Big Plans Ahead

Hey guys, I am still making cards for the Fall Winter Blog hop.  Wowsa, this year I am really killing it with these coffee themed cards❗️  If you haven't ever participated or you need some amazing inspiration from DT's, Super Sponsors (lots of giveaways) or just all of us who love coffee themed anything, click on the link to find out how to join us this year.  It runs from November 7th - 14th (2025).

I'm here with a new card featuring some amazing La La Land Crafts stamps and papers.  If you haven't heard about La La Land Crafts you are missing out❗️  Here is a link to all of their website.

I started out with the La La Land Crafts 6x6 paper pack called IN THE CITY.  It is GORGEOUS and thick and did I say GORGEOUS? I love the scene on this one and the colors.  Since 2 sheets of the same scene come in each pack I used up both of them.  One I used as my base and the other one I used a fancy bracket die cut...I do like the look of a pop up on part of the paper that blends but still has a great demential effect.  I made sure to glue it to match up with the base paper.

I then took my Marci Coffee rubber stamp (sorry guys, it's part of their monthly club and isn't offered any other time that I know of) and I stamped her with some Momento black ink before using my Copic and Spectrum Noir markers to color and blend her in.  I'm not mad at the way she turned out but can I just say that the DT over on LaLaLand Crafts are PHENOMENAL at blending and well you will just have to go check them out.  I'm blown away and not sure I will ever be at that level...but again, not mad at her.

After I finished coloring and blending I fussy cut her out and added some foam tape to half of her and the other half was adhered to the popped out part of the bracket die.

I then reached into another coffee stamp set I got from LLLC, again part of that monthly kit so not available solo, and stamped the sentiment BREW IN HAND BIG PLANS AHEAD. I stamped it on a 4x6 K & COMPANY paper pad that I am in LOVE with called SOLID MAT (scooped 2 of them up at my Ollies which bought out some of Joann's stock when they went out of business and the price is STUPID CRAZY).

Inside of the card I used a paper pad from Hobby Lobby that had the color I felt matched pretty good.  I then used the rest of that LLLC paper and glued it over top of the 6x6 paper from Hobby Lobby...guys this stuff is so beautiful that I didn't want to waste any of it.

I then cut one of the fancy brackets (the largest one) and used some SALTWATER TAFFY distressed oxide to get the color I wanted and I glued it down.  I then had the rest of that paper left after cutting the fancy bracket for the front of the card and decided not to waste that either.  It brought the scene inside the card and I loved that look❗️ Using the smaller solid fancy bracket (why yes, yes they are a nesting die set) I stamped the sentiment that I had from Brass and Bliss called ALL YOU NEED IS COFFEE on top of the die.

Well, that's it...this is a bigger card than I usually make so I will need to make an envelope for it but I don't mind because I am definitely not mad at the way this turned out.

Thanks so much for hanging out with me for some more coffee loving cards.  Don't forget to head over to the blog and leave some love, get inspired and try hoping along with us this year.

I hope your day is fueled by coffee and love.

Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter Blog Hop 2025 - How to make me Happy card

Hey guys, I'm here with another fun coffee card for the Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter Blog Hop for 2025.  If you have never participated here is a link to find out how and a link to all of the Super Sponsors that usually have some pretty good deals going on for this hop!

I started off with a coffee stamp set I just purchased from Amazon (click here to see it).  I will say, I wasn't overly happy with it when I got it.  It is a bit flimsy and one of the stamps almost looks like she has a mustache...that's what I get for buying cheap stamps.

But they turned out to be cute stamps/images so I guess I'm not that mad at them.  Anyhoo, I started with the cute image of a woman in slippers sitting back having a cup of coffee...I can't say that I've ever gone to the store in slippers but hey, a coffee run is a coffee run.

I used my Copic Markers and my Spectrum NoirMarkers to color her (still trying to work on my shading technique, it's slow going, I really need to watch more vids).

After I finished coloring the image, I pulled out a double frame die from Whimsy Stamps and cut it out using a 6x6 paper from Brass and Bliss Java Good Time paper pad.   After die cutting it out I backed it with a toffee colored textured card stock.

I pulled out my Vicki Boutin 12x12 paper pad I just got, I think it's called Art For Everyone.  I found this paper that looks like it has coffee rings on it and in the same color scheme as the clothes I colored on the image so I was super excited to use it - happy coincidence for sure. I backed the VB paper with the same toffee colored card stock to balance out the card and then adhered it all together (popping up the image on foam tape to give it a bit of dimension).

I reached into my coffee sentiment stamps and grabbed a Brass and Bliss stamp set called LET'S MEET FOR COFFEE and stamped it on the top.

This card was so simple and easy to make...I hope it has inspired you to pull out your coffee stamps and make a card and hop along for the 2025 Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter Blog hop.

Thanks for hanging out with me,

Have a crafty day!

Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter Blog Hop 2025 - Coffee Time

Hey guys, yeap, I am here with yet another coffee themed card for the Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter Blog Hop 2025.  As always, here is a link to go over and check out all the inspiration and if you are a coffee/tea/hot cocoa lover join in and have some fun with us this year.

I am really loving all of my new coffee themed and inspired stamps and dies this year!  My collection has really grown.

Here is another one from the Amazon stamp set I bought that I don't love but I'm not too mad at it.

I started this one off with an A2 base in the same color as her sweater (or pretty darn close to it).  I added a slightly smaller coffee themed paper from Brass and Bliss called Java Good Time.

After adhering them together I moved on to cutting that postage frame (I got this from scrapbook . com). I used the largest and then the one that was 2 sizes smaller so I get that wide space in-between.  I adhered the large one down and then popped the smaller one up on foam tape.

I then used my stamp platform to stamp out the image.  I used my Spectrum Noir and Copic markers to color her in and then adhered her to the middle of that smaller postage die.

Using the same stamp set I stamped the sentiment "Coffee Time" along with 4 of the coffee beans.  I then reached for my Ranger Perfect Pearls and dusted the image before it dried and it gives that gold luster look to it.

Well that was a pretty easy card to make...I hope it inspired you to dig into your stamps and dies and make a card for that special someone.

Thanks for hanging out with me today,

Have a crafty card making kind of day,

Kimberly

Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter Blog Hop 2025 - You Got this Girl!

Hey guys, I'm here with another coffee inspired card for the Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter Blog Hop 2025...here is a link to all the fun!

I am using some chipboard pieces from the I AM collection. I just wanted to show you that cards don't have to be super challenging or technical to be cute.

I had these pieces left over from a collection that was gifted to me and thought what a cute coffee card this would make.

I started with the A2 card base in a cream color and I inked the edge in Walnut Stain.  I then reached into my scraps and found this piece of 12x12 I had cut into previously from a Vicki Boutin paper pad and well it looks like coffee rings to me so I thought the colors were perfect and the rings were too so I adhered it to the top of the base.

I grabbed the 3 pieces that were perfect for this coffee themed card and laid them out where I wanted them.  I reached into my Brass and Bliss stamp set called LET'S MEET FOR COFFEE and used the YOU ARE BREW-TIFUL sentiment.  I stamped it on a die that I had in my stash and added the thread and DONE!

See how easy that is and a great way use up those left over pieces in a collection.  I hope you were inspired to grab a collection you are almost done with or you have no idea what to do with and make a card out of it...coffee themed or not.  But if it is a coffee themed card here is a link to join us on the hop or just go and look at all the inspiration the ladies have to offer this year.

Thanks for hanging out with me and I hope you have a crafty-card making kind of day😋

Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter Blog Hop 2025 - May your Coffee be stronger than anything you face today

Hey guys, I'm here with card #6 for the Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter Blog Hop for 2025.  If you have never participated here is a link to find out how and a link to all of the Super Sponsors that usually have some pretty good deals going on for this hop!

Today I'm working with one of my favorite AALL & Create Stamps of Miss Dee.  This one is Stamp #704 and she comes with some pretty snarky sayings.  For this card I didn't use any of her sayings but I paired it with a Coffee Stamp set from Brass & Bliss that has a couple of snarky sentiments as well so they were a perfect fit.

I started out stamping Miss Dee and coloring her in with my Spectrum Noir markers, I was trying to match the pattern paper I used from my scraps and I think I nailed it.  I set her aside once I was done and started working on the rest of the card.

For the Base I used a paper from Craft Consortium called Metal Textures and backed it with a metallic copper card stock I had.  I cut the copper card stock to an A2 size and then the CC paper an 1/8 of an inch smaller and adhered them down.  I then took some cream color textured card stock (sadly I was out of the copper metallic paper) and cut it about a 1/2" smaller than the A2 size. I reached into my scraps and used that pattern paper I had (last piece of that) cutting it down about a 1/8" smaller than the textured card stock and adhered theme together.  I backed it on some thick foam tape and adhered it to the card base.

I forgot to stamp my card before doing all of that but it worked out because that thick foam tape really lets the stamp soak into that paper so it worked out with me stamping it after the fact.

I added that tiny coffee cup...I have had that die for-EVER and couldn't tell you where I got it but it has a bunch of Fall icons (think pumpkin, pie, coffee, leaves) that are all on one die and so tiny.  I think it's to use for shaker cards but I don't do many of them and almost forgot I had it but glad I remembered because it was perfect for this card.

I used more paper from that Craft Consortium paper pack to line the inside of the card. I then cut 2 squares (3x3 and one slightly smaller than that) and adhered them together and then used the 2nd part of that sentiment.  I thought about putting it on the front but I thought it went better inside.  I used the last of that scrap from the front of the card to tie it all in and I am done!  I do love Miss Dee and her snarky self!

Thanks for hanging out with me during the Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter Blog Hop!

Have a crafty day,

Kimberly

Wishing you pumpkin spice & everything nice!

Hey guys I'm up here with another card for the Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Card Hop.  Here is a link to all the great inspirations, Sponsors of the hop - with lots of prizes to be had - and how you can join in on the fun.

Today I am hopping back into my La La Land Crafts Marci Stamp set.  Oh I just love their stamps and dies.  Here is a link to their shop if you don't know who they are...so many amazing stamps and dies and their paper pads are AWESOME!

I stamped Marci and began to color her with my Copic Markers and some of my Spectrum Noir Markers as well.  I added a bit of fun dots to her sweater for some texture.  I am still trying to figure out my blending and how to do her eyes...so no judging (lol)

After stamping and coloring Marci in I set her aside and reached for my K&Copmany Solid Mat Paper Pad.  I really got this for a steal at Ollies...72 sheets for $1.99 so I grabbed 2 of them!  I used the coffee brown colored for the base and cut an 1/8" off the burnt orange colored one and matted them.

I then pulled out my pumpkin dies I got from a seller off of Ebay (but I've seen them on Amazon as well).  I love them because they have a bit of embossing on them so I ran them through my Big Shot with the sandwich for embossing and then ran them through the regular way that die cut them.  I did it twice so I could add a bit of dimension and color to the stems.  I inked the edges in Ground Espresso distress oxide.

I then went into my stamps and grabbed  my WISHING YOU PUMPKIN SPICE & EVERYTHING NICE! stamp from Miss Ink Stamps (who happens so be one of the SUPER SPONSORS to this year's blog hop) and stamped it on the same green card stock from that K&C paper pad I was using so I could bring all the colors together and then die cut it with a stitched banner die.

I adhered the banner die with some foam tape, added Marci and the pumpkins.  To bring it all together I added a bit of bling and I was done.

Thanks so much for hanging out with me and don't forget to head over to the Blog and get some more inspiration from all the other ladies.

Have a crafty day,

Coffee Lover's Fall/Winter Blog Hop 2025

Hey guys, I'm here hopping along with this years Coffee Lover's Fall/Winter Blog hop.  Here is a link to find all the info and how to hop along with everyone.

Here is my 3rd Coffee Card and I decided to try something I've been trying to figure out how to do for a while.  Have you ever seen a card that looks like it's popped out with the same image but in different dimensions?  I really don't know how it's done but I gave it a shot, you can tell me in the comments if you think I got it right or if I'm close.

I started off with a paper pad from the awesome Brass & Bliss company.  I discovered them (I actually won a gift card on one the the Coffee Lover's Blog hops) and have been buying from them ever since!

They have some of the most fabulous stamps and dies ever and their paper pads are amazing!  The one I'm using is called Java Good Time.  I used 2 different papers, one for the card front and the other to die cut.

I cut the base down to an A2 card size and then I took my new dies from Whimsy stamps (oh I really have to say this is one of my most FAVORITE stores) This die is called  STAINED GLASS WINDOW and it was on CLEARANCE for $5 so YES PLEASE!  I used ALL the dies at the same time and die cut the patterned paper.  I then adhered the first 2 to my card front, then I used foam tape strips to pop up the next two and then the last two I adhered directly to the card front.  It gives it a dimensional look but still not quite what I was going for but I'm not mad at it.

I then reached for my stamp and dies from Brass & Bliss...how cute is that sloth?

I used some Copic and Spectrum Noir markers to color and shade in the image.  I also grabbed a coffee stamp from another stamp set from Brass & Bliss and stamped the sentiment.

I added some foam tape behind the middle of the image so it adheres to the card front as well as the pattern paper.  I added some bling to the top and some in the middle but I was going for a steamy kind of flow...not sure that really worked out but they were down and, yeap, not mad at it!

That's it, this one was pretty quick and I do like the dimension of the dies that still show the patterns where they are suppose to be.  What do you think?

Thanks for hanging out with me for this hop and I hope to see you hopping along with us!

Have a crafty day!

Coffee Lover's Fall/Winter Hop 2025 - Card 1

Hey guys, I'm here hopping along with the Coffee Lover's Fall/Winter Hop 2025.  I can't believe I've been hopping along with them for over 5 years now and wow the cards I see are definitely inspiring!  Here is the link if you want to hop along for some great inspiration, prizes and a few discounts to some awesome Super Sponsors....supporting a small business is a great thing!

Ok, on to my first card of the hop.  I really got into a Halloween themed mood for some reason so I'm starting off with the cool AI Frankenstein Coffee Card.  Isn't he the coolest?!?!  You can find him and others over on FreePik.com

After I downloaded and printed him to size I fussy cut him out, set him aside and pulled out my 6x6 paper pad from Craft Consortium called Metal Textures.  This paper pad has some really amazing papers in it and this metal looking one fit Franky to a T so I had to use it.  I cut it down to an A2 size card and moved on to stamping.

I have an old coffee stamp set in my stash from years ago so I picked the one that says "death BEFORE DECAF", stamped it on a scrap piece of paper from the same paper pad with some VersaMark embossing ink.  I grabbed some super fine black embossing power from WOW! and then heat set it and adhered it to my paper.

I then reached for one of my fav coffee stamp and die sets from Altenew called Friends Forever (no longer available but you might find it on ebay...I love, love, love it).

I stamped and die cut the to go cup and then used the die with a halloween paper I had in my stash and cut the lid and also the sleeve and inked the edges and adhered the lid and the sleeve (the sleeve I used some foam tape for some dimension).  I adhered it down to my card stock and moved on to that cute little spider I had gotten from The Paper Studio.  I added some black thread behind it going up the card, adhered the back of the thread to my card stock and then used a glue dot to adhere it to my card base and then added the spider on top of the glue dot to cover it.

Time for Franky, I added some thick foam tape behind him and adhered him to the front of the cup and added my sequence and I was done!  I do love how he matches the papers I used for the cup and the background!  And he looks like he would prefer death before decaf!

Thanks for hanging out with me for this fun card.  I hope I was able to inspire you to join in on the fun and hope you come back for the rest of my coffee loving cards later this week!

Thanks for hanging out with me today...Have a crafty day!

Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter Blog Hop 2025 -Death Before Decaf

Hey guys, I'm here hopping along with the Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter Blog Hop.  Lots of inspiration, prizes and Super Sponsors!  Here's a link to join in and find out more.

I'm here with Card #2 for this hop.  I'm still on the Halloween theme kick so I printed another AI card front from FreePik.com...how cool is this guy?

I grabbed that same Craft Consortium 6x6 paper pad and chose this copper looking background for my card base.  I cut it slightly smaller than an A2 base and backed it on a tan colored card stock.  I then backed the card front image onto a glossy black card stock and adhered it to my card base.  I had this cute little frozen coffee sticker from Recollections so I put it in his hand.

I then reached for my DEATH BEFORE DECAF stamp and stamped it and die cut it using one of my postage dies and adhered that to the same glossy black card stock.  Since the image was a little thick because I backed it, I ended up adding some scrap card stock to the lower have of the back of the stamp to match the hieght and glued it down just below the image.  I added the gems from Honey Bee and called it done!

I think he would definitely tell you Death Before Decaf or maybe that's what happen to him, he ordered decaf 🤣🤣

Thanks for hanging out with me for this super quick card and don't forget to hop over to the blog and catch all the fun!

Have a crafty day!

Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter Hop 2025 - Hang in there, Taking one day at a time.

Hey guys, I'm here participating on the 2025 Coffee Lovers FallWinter Hop.  I am always so excited this time of year because this hop is full of amazing sponsors, talented card maker and fun prizes! If you have never participated I will leave a link to all the fun, inspiration and prizes to be had (click here).

I just got some Doodlebug bits and pieces from their Happy Healing collection and OMG I just love them...I'm a sucker for Doodlebug.

This card came together pretty quick.  I started off with some inks from CTMH (oh I so miss that company).  I started with Shortbread and then went to Sundance and then added some Twisted Citron Distressed Oxide, trying to pull in those shades of tan, yellow and green from the ephemera pieces.

I reached into my packs of Doodlebug and pulled 5 of them...that mug and lemons with the ginger was definitely a focal point so all I had to do was add a couple more pieces...the HOME REMEDIES and the FEELING THE LOVE was perfect to add in some more of the green.  I added the banner at the top and then pulled in some yellow to balance it out with the banner at the bottom.

After adhering it all down (I used some foam tape for the focal pieces) I then adhered that to an A2 card size base that pulled in some of the brownish tan of the ginger root.

How quick and easy was that?!  Who says a card has to be complicated to be awesome.  Thanks so much for hanging out with me and I hope you head over to the hop and find some inspiration.

Have a crafty day,

Kimberly
