Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter Blog Hop 2025 - May your Coffee be stronger than anything you face today

Hey guys, I'm here with card #6 for the Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter Blog Hop for 2025.  If you have never participated here is a link to find out how and a link to all of the Super Sponsors that usually have some pretty good deals going on for this hop!

Today I'm working with one of my favorite AALL & Create Stamps of Miss Dee.  This one is Stamp #704 and she comes with some pretty snarky sayings.  For this card I didn't use any of her sayings but I paired it with a Coffee Stamp set from Brass & Bliss that has a couple of snarky sentiments as well so they were a perfect fit.

I started out stamping Miss Dee and coloring her in with my Spectrum Noir markers, I was trying to match the pattern paper I used from my scraps and I think I nailed it.  I set her aside once I was done and started working on the rest of the card.

For the Base I used a paper from Craft Consortium called Metal Textures and backed it with a metallic copper card stock I had.  I cut the copper card stock to an A2 size and then the CC paper an 1/8 of an inch smaller and adhered them down.  I then took some cream color textured card stock (sadly I was out of the copper metallic paper) and cut it about a 1/2" smaller than the A2 size. I reached into my scraps and used that pattern paper I had (last piece of that) cutting it down about a 1/8" smaller than the textured card stock and adhered theme together.  I backed it on some thick foam tape and adhered it to the card base.

I forgot to stamp my card before doing all of that but it worked out because that thick foam tape really lets the stamp soak into that paper so it worked out with me stamping it after the fact.

I added that tiny coffee cup...I have had that die for-EVER and couldn't tell you where I got it but it has a bunch of Fall icons (think pumpkin, pie, coffee, leaves) that are all on one die and so tiny.  I think it's to use for shaker cards but I don't do many of them and almost forgot I had it but glad I remembered because it was perfect for this card.

I used more paper from that Craft Consortium paper pack to line the inside of the card. I then cut 2 squares (3x3 and one slightly smaller than that) and adhered them together and then used the 2nd part of that sentiment.  I thought about putting it on the front but I thought it went better inside.  I used the last of that scrap from the front of the card to tie it all in and I am done!  I do love Miss Dee and her snarky self!

Thanks for hanging out with me during the Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter Blog Hop!

Have a crafty day,

I Like Big Cups & I Can Not Lie!

Here is another card for Day 7 of the Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter Blog Hop.  I am having so much fun making these coffee/tea/hot cocoa themed cards this year.

This one is another stash busting card, oh that makes me so happy!  I used the print paper left over from another project as my base and I found another piece of card stock in my stash I had leftover from a CTMH collection (it was so pretty).  I stacked a black card stock on top and then found 2 journaling cards, from a Echo Park Coffee collection from 2023 I still had, and stacked one on top of the black card stock.  The one that says I LIKE BIG CUPS & I CAN NOT LIE I adhered to some foam adhesive and popped it up for a bit of dimension.  The girl holding the coffee I fussy cut from another card in the EP collection, I also popped her up on some foam adhesive.

I stamped the sentiment from LET'S MEET FOR COFFEE stamp set from Brass and Bliss on to the last piece of that CTMH paper and popped it up on foam adhesive and called it done!

I was SO EXCITED to use everything from scraps!  I mean we pay good money for our products no need to waist them.

There is one more day to get your cards made and uploaded for this hop, it ends tomorrow, November 8th, 2024.  I will be uploading a couple of more tomorrow and that will be that for this year's Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter Blog Hop.  Here is a link if you want to play along.

Thanks for stopping my,

Kimberly

Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter Blog Hop 2024 ~ Friends Keep Your Heart Warm

Hey guys, I'm here on Day 6 of the Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter Blog Hop 2024 with FRIENDS KEEP YOUR HEART WARM...I just love that sentiment don't you?  I started off with some fabulous paper from Brass and Bliss called JAVA GOOD TIME, it's a must have paper pack if you are into coffee themed cards!

I backed one of the papers behind this really cute heart pattern paper to frame it, then I took a light brown textured card stock ran it through my die cutting machine with a super cute 3D heart embossing folder and backed it in black to give it a bit of a frame.  I used my AlteNew die for the to go cup from the Friends Forever collection and used more of the papers from that awesome JAVA GOOD TIME paper pad for the lid and the coffee cup itself...it's that paper gorgeous!  I also used the dies to make the "steam" coming from the coffee lid (still using some of that paper from that JAVA paper pad).  Before adhering it down I took my VERSA MAGIC archival chalk ink pad (in Cloud White) and skimmed it across the hearts so it gives it a bit of dimension.

I popped the to go cup up on foam adhesive, stamped the sentiment (Crafter's Companion - SWEET LIKE CHOCOLATE) and cut it out with one of my stitched circle dies and done!  This would be a great card to send out to a friend in February I think, what about you?

If you want to join in the hop here is the link along with a link to my other blog showing how to Link Up.  There are lots of GREAT inspiration AND lots of prizes to be had!  Hope to see you over there.
