Keep Cool Cut File Layout featuring Scrappin Happy Epoxy Flairs and Word Phrases

Hi guys, I'm here doing a layout using the newest release of Scrappin happy Studio Flairs  and her new awesome Cardstock words!

I'm also excited to be using a cut file (or cardstock cuts as they call them) from (Not) Just For Boys Kit Club!  It's a cool pair of sunglasses with the words KEEP COOL. When I saw this one I just had to have it!

Here's what I started out with.  I snapped a photo of me and my dog Tigger, being silly with these sunglasses so you know I just knew I had to use that cut file with this layout.  I was also excited to use my new paper pads I just got from Michaels as a HOT BUY.  Guys, if you don't know about Michael's Hot Buys you are missing out! Make sure you subscribe to their emails so you know when they are having their Hot Buys sales. I also scored a tropical paradise paper pad that was on clearance for $4.97! I choose to use these colors because well, the sunglasses are all kinds of these awesome colors and, it just so happens that it was a Color Pallet Challenge on our Facebook group and these were the exact colors!

I backed the sunglasses with part of a flamingo on both sides, I used a gorgeous aqua-green for the words KEEPIN' (but decided to back the apostrophe with a bright yellow so it pops). Then I backed the word COOL with a deep purple to pull some of that color from the actual sunglasses we had on.  The circles in the middle of the two "O", I backed with a shinny gold paper just to make it pop! I used foam adhesive to give it a bit of dimension on the page.

I had so many gorgeous papers in that Craft Smart paper pad (called Hot Tropic) that I almost couldn't decide which do use as the base.  So I decide to use a pattern paper with different shades of pinks and corals but I wanted to break it up and pull some of that deep purple out again. So I tore a page out of one of the HOT BUY pads, used the tear technique and put it on one side. I used that purple side to place my photo (which I backed with that shiny gold paper) and I did some paper tearing of each solid color that I had in the Color Challenge.  I added one of the Word Phrases along with two epoxy flairs from Scrappin Happy Studio.

🔛

I had some empty space on the purple side so I decide to do something different.  I had all of the scraps left over from "side backing" my photo that I decided to put them into little clusters and adhere them with a flower brad in the middle.

The top of the layout is a strip I cut from one of the pages from the paper pad and I fussy cut the bottom for the little scallops.  The bottom part of the layout is where I cut almost all of the rest of the strips from that page and decided to destress the edges of all of them.  The pineapples I backed with foam adhesive for some more dimension and then lined the rest one on top of the other.

Here is the finished layout...what do you think?

Halloween Layout Featuring (new to the shop) Flair BUTTONS from Scrappin Happy Studio!

Hi Guys, Thanks for stopping by and checking out something brand NEW from Scrappin Happy Studio!  These cute Flair Buttons are super durable, cute as a (I'm going to say it) button, has a metal back to them, which means you can use any adhesive to adhere them to your layout, and they are brand NEW to her shop!

She sent me a pack, before she even has them in her shop, to try.  These Halloween themed (she will have other themes to choose from as well) are super cute and the colors are awesome for any Halloween themed layout.  There is even one that is versatile enough to use on a layout that isn't Halloween themed!

I was so excited to get them yesterday that I just had to do a layout.  Here is a picture of me and my mom on a Halloween that we decided at the last minute to dress up and go out so we spent the day trying to find last minute outfits.  I'm not sure what she was...kinda of a Phantom of the Opera meets dental man? I have no idea to this day😆 I chose a black cat and found leggings, a black top and a cat eyes mask and some black gloves.  It worked and we had so much fun that night with people trying to guess who we were.

Ok, so back to the layout.  It came together pretty quick with these Halloween themed buttons and one of her Halloween epoxy flairs.  As I'm sure you can tell by now (because I'm sure I told you before) I'm all about color!  I see color, pull all colors I think will match both in paper and embellishments and making sure everything matches the theme.  So with these buttons being Halloween colors and themed, it came together quick!

Everything I used is listed below.  Thanks again for stopping by and checking out these super cute and brand new to her shop...Flair Buttons!

Collections I used:
Scrappin Happy Studio - Epoxy flairs - Halloween Words
Scrappin Happy Studio -  Flair Buttons - Halloween
ms.  sparkle & Co - HALOWEEN TEXTURES 6x6 paper pad
American Crafts Thickers - SPOOKY glitter foam
K&Company - Dimensional Stickers (Halloween)
Echo Park Paper - SPOOKY  chipboard stickers

2 page Vaca layout featuring Scrappin Happy Beer Friends Epoxy Flairs

Hey Newbies, I'm up on the blog doing a double page layout featuring these super awesome and funny BEER FRIENDS epoxy flairs from Scrappin Happy Studio!

She featured these in her new release last month and I just had to have them for this layout.  I was super excited to see them because I have been wanting to do this layout for a little while now. I will list the items I used at the bottom of this blog.

I'm also going to let you in on a little secret...I ran out of the perfect, summer time, drink time paper I've ever seen (retired paper from Stamping Up!) and I was so bummed out but was able to coordinate some other papers for the 2nd page and it worked out perfect!

Ok, first of all this is how it all starts in my head: I pull so much stuff from my stash and then I go from there.  It either works or I set it aside and pull from the remaining pile.  I mean, when I start on a layout I pull about half my stash (or at least the stuff that goes with the theme of the layout).

For the 1st layout, I started off with a piece of 12 x 12 bright blue card stock from a paper pad I had. I added some awesome summer time paper from Stamping Up! called Bubble and Fizz (unfortunately it is retired 😑). I love all of the bright colors and fun bottles!
I printed the photos 3" x 2" and then backed them with 2 of the papers from the Bubble and Fizz collection.  I decided to use the 4 photos in a stacked way to show kind of a action flow to it.  I used 1/2 a page of the green bottled paper from the Bubble and Fizz collection and then used my very last piece of the big colorful bottled paper, from the Bubble and Fizz collection,  using the tear technique.  I laid it over the bottle paper, and then added the last strip of yellow and white paper that I had, behind it (guys, this is why I keep ALL of my scraps).  I added a torn 12 x 2" fizzy green paper from the same collection and then I had just enough of the small bright colored bottle paper left to do a 4 x 2" piece poking out to give it a pop of color.

I found some really cool chipboard stickers that had lemons and a SQUEEZE scripted word which was perfect for her puckered lemon face😂.  I also found an epoxy word LAUGH and a sticker of a girl in sunglasses.  All of these went perfect with the pictures and of course that  BEER MODE ON epoxy from Scrappin Happy Studio!  I managed to find a puffy sticker black palm tree and added that.  I had the VACA word in white and backed it on some of the same bright blue card stock that I used for the layout.

I had some foam alphas (thanks to an awesome crafty friend) and spelled out the word MODE and backed it with a piece of the fizzy green paper in the collection, and gave it a little tear action at the top just to blend it in.   The title I cut from a cut apart sheet I had, backing it with the fizzy green paper and a strip of yellow to tie it all together and added another LIVE, LOVE, BEER epoxy flair from Scrappin Happy Studio!  That finishes the 1st page of this 2 page layout.

The 2nd page I didn't have all of the same papers from that collection so I had to improvise.  I did have the green bottle paper so I measured it and lined it up with the first page. Instead of the bright colored bottle paper that I tore and laid on top I was able to find a bright colored camera paper and did the same tear technique and adhered it to the green paper.  I also didn't have any more of the yellow and white paper so I used a strip of the side 2 of the green bottle paper (which was the fabulous reddish/pink with white swirly lines and some green dots).  I also didn't have any more of that cool small bright bottle paper so I used the same size (approximately) of the bright camera paper.  I was able to find the I LOVE THIS PLACE puffy sticker from the same collection as the palm tree and used that.  The pineapple chip board came from the same collection as the SQUEEZE scripted word as did the JUST CHILLIN! I used the epoxy HAPPY word and TOGETHER word (both coming from the same collection as the  LAUGH word) and found this awesome green GOOD TIMES WITH GOOD FRIENDS sticker as well as the I'M FEELIN IT sticker.  The FUN MEMORIES came from the same collection as the palm tree and the cool beach jeep was from a stash from 2008!!!  Lastly, the WILD SIDE round chipboard sticker is from a collection called Jungle Safari (just sayin, just because it came in a collection of safari animals doesn't mean you have to use it for that😬).

Well, there you have it!  Thanks for stopping by and reading all about this 2 page layout and these super fun BEER EPOXY FLAIRS from Scrappin Happy Studio!

Collections I used:
Scrappin Happy Studio - Epoxy flairs - BEER FRIENDS
Stamping Up! - Bubble and Fizz (retired but they have some awesome collections)
American Crafts Thickers - Honey Collection (FUN, MEMORIES)
American Crafts Thickers - Thick & Thin Collection (foam white letters)
American Crafts Thickers - Wander Collection (VACA, I LOVE THIS PLACE & BLACK PALM TREE)
The Paper Studio - Agenda 52 - I'M FEELIN IT, GOOD TIMES WITH GOOD FRIENDS
Pink Paislee - Citrus Blend Sticker collection - SQUEEZE, FRESHLY SQUEEZED,PINEAPPLE
Park Lane (epoxy words) HAPPY, TOGETHER, LAUGH
Echo Park Paper - Jungle Safari Collection- WILD SIDE chipboard stickers
Peebles/Jen Hatfield - Home Made Collection - LEMON chipboard sticker
Scrappin Happy Studio - Print & Punch, HERE & NOW

Spring/Summer Coffee Blog Hop 2020 - card#2

Hi guys, I'm up on the blog putting together another coffee themed card for the Spring/Summer Coffee themed blog hop 2020 with this amazing Coffee Loving Cardmaking Facebook Group (I highly recommend joining this awesome group if you are into Coffee or Card Making and especially if you are into both)!

Click Here for a link to all of the sponsors, the sales they are offering for this hop (act quick, this hop ends soon) and the awesome inspiration they all share!

For this card, I wanted to keep it to the Spring/Summer colors (rather than the usual coffee colors) so I dug into my some bright colored scraps and off I went!

I made sure to grab the scraps I had left over from an amazing white, linen paper I just discovered at Hobby Lobby.  I love this paper because it soaks up the inks really well and you can do amazing stamping and blending with this paper!

After picking out the brightest Spring/Summer colors I cut them all down to A2 and smaller in order to layer them.  I also did a bit of distressed work on all sides of each piece I cut out.

After adhering them down I went to town on stamping the linen card stock with this cute, frappe stamp from Ink Roads Stamps.  I chose to stamp them in Hero Arts, OMBRE  (Pink to Red), which is what I also stamped the sentiment JAVA NICE DAY in.  I then broke out my water colors with a slight shimmer to them and added the coloring of the frappe cups and straws.  I'm loving how the water colors turned out...kind of reminds me of the Unicorn drinks that Starbucks was selling a while back.  I then die cut a small piece of pink twin and tied it into a little bow and adhered it to the sentiment.

Well, there you have it.  This layout came together quick for me.  It's a simple card that looks like I spent a lot of time doing.  The best layouts and cards aren't always the once that take hours or days.

Bashing my stash!

I dug deep into my stash to find this gorgeous, beach vibe paper I almost forgot about.  Most of you know that I got into scrapbooking through a neighbor (who turned out to be a really great friend) back in 2008.  We did a couple of albums together and then I ended up moving and life got in the way.  I stopped scrapbooking after that year and didn't get back into it until 2018!

So needless to say, when I tell you this is old paper...it is!  I absolutely love the colors in this paper...they just pop and scream summer vibes!

I started off with this amazing aqua/turquoise (ish) bright blue.  I took the beach vibe paper and cut about 1" off the sides and did the tear technique and separated the 2 pieces (tearing out a big gap in the center to make sure that blue really popped)!  I backed the photo with some scrapes from a multi colored pink paper leaving just enough showing through to give that pink a little pop.

Then I grabbed my stash and started picking the pieces I wanted to go on this layout.  I'm not sure if you are like me but I go through ALL of my stuff and grab what I THINK may look good on a particular layout.  Then once I start with the paper and the photo I start going through what I pulled from my stash all over again to see what actually works.  This makes it so difficult to do YT videos😱...I keep watching other scrappers do YT videos and wonder how they just know what to use from one pick🤷🏻‍♀️

I pulled a lot from American Crafts (3 different collections I will list below) along with 2 flairs from Scrappin Happy Studio and some cute sayings and hearts from Me & My Big Ideas.  The blue heart is actually the background peaking through after I punched the paper with my Heart punch.

Well, there you have it.  This layout came together quick for me.  It's a simple layout that looks like I spent a lot of time doing.  The best layouts aren't always the once that take hours or days like some of my mixed media ones do.

Collections I used:
Scrappin Happy Studio - Epoxy flairs - Beach Vibes Collection
Scrappin Happy Studio - Epoxy flairs - Be Strong Collection
American Crafts - Thickers - Adventure Collection
American Crafts - Thickers - Colorful Collection
American Crafts - Thickers - Summer Lights Collection
Me & My Big Ideas - Mambi Chips - I love us Collection

Reading is an Adventure - featuring Color Cast products

Hi guys, I'm here working on my next layout with an amazing cut file of a book which I couldn't wait to get to go with my Color Cast Design's super thin wood veneers! I also had some cute flairs from Scrappin Happy Studio that were made for this layout.

I started this layout using a 12x12 blush color card stock. I had just gotten a cut file of a book and decided to use it for this layout.   I backed it with card stock that had words on it to give it that book feel.  I dug into my Color Cast design stash and pulled out my wood veneers. They have this Book Collection and it was perfect!  These veneers are super thin, so no bulkiness; they have a sticky back to them so easy to peel and stick to your layout and they are in a perfect size and shape for any layout!

After picking through the ones I wanted to use, I moved on to picking the flairs from the Book Collection at Scrappin Happy Studio.  Thses were perfect and also on the thin side (not like the medal buttons that bulk up your layouts). I grabbed a few more embellishments and used my Sizzix Die Cut machine to cut the alphas out.  These alphas are perfect size for any layout (purchased from Amazon).

I then backed my photo with 2 different color card stock, added some foam adhesive to some of the embellishments and then stamped the stitching on the side.  Look, I couldn't sew a button on an ice cream cone so these Bo Bunny stitching stamps are the next best thing!

So there you have it!  A quick and super cute layout of my granddaughter reading her book (even if it is upside down🤷🏻‍♀️).

Thanks for taking the time to read about this layout and the products I used.  Please come follow me on IG (ScrapbookingForNewbies) or on FB (ScrapbookingForNewbies)

Scary Cat Halloween Layout using Scrappin Happy Studio Flairs

Hey guys, I'm back with a Halloween layout which is pretty much an "old school" quick and easy layout.

When I first got into scrapbooking in 2010(ish) my neighbor and really good friend, Jessica got me into it.  Back then we did a lot of Cricut cutting (the old "dinosaur" Cricut), stickers and paper tearing, which I deemed "old School".

I got away from scrapbooking for a few years when we both moved away.  I only recently got back into it and wow have things changed! So many new things like dies, die machines, Flairs, Nuvo Mousse, mixed media, shaker cards/backings, new and improved Cricut machine that doesn't even take a cartridge, puffy stickers, chipboards...oh my!

So when I say old school layout I basically mean some paper tearing, maybe some stickers and alphas.  This Halloween layout is basically just that with some added flairs and chipboard stickers!

I teamed up with Scrappin Happy Studio because I fell in love with her epoxy flairs! They are super thin so they don't bulk up your layout like the buttons do!  She also has so many different collections and adding more every couple of weeks that I never get board of her stuff!  If you are looking for that extra pop to you layout, head over to her shop and check out all of her collections.

For this layout I started with some American Craft Thickers (Spooky collection), some chipboard autumn leaves and pumpkins, and of course a brand new collection from Scrappin Happy Studio called "Scarey Halloween" (one of my favs this season for sure)!

I took a heavy black 12x12 card stock with a nice sheen to it and used that for the background and another 12x12 piece of Halloween paper,  tearing one side of it into a quarter of a sheet, leaving an edge off to the other side to put the little pumkin's and leaves (I have a cute die set that cuts those) and adhered them down the side as a boarder.

I backed my photo with orange card stock, tucking a small bit of it it under the Halloween paper.  I cut a background out of a slightly different orange card stock for the word "HALLOWEEN" that I used from the SPOOKY words collection from American Crafts, just to make it pop off the black background.

I have this cute little spider die I got off of Amazon (not going to lie, it was a  lot smaller than I thought but I don't hate it).  I cut 3 of the spider dies from a halloween paper I had that was black and orange and I backed 2 of the epoxy flairs from Scrappin Happy Studio's, SCARY HALLOWEEN Collection.

I added the "SPOOKY" epoxy flair from the "HALLOWEEN WORDS" collection on the bottom of the photo for that extra pop!

I then added the pumpkin and fall leaves chipboard stickers to the bottom and Bam! Done!  So simple, quick and easy.  This layout literally took me 15 minutes from start to finish!

What do you think about her new SCARY HALLOWEEN COLLECTION?  To see more of her collections click here.

Thank you guys for taking the time to follow my posts, I hope you enjoyed this old school Halloween layout!
Happy Scrapping,

Tip Day Tuesday - discovering new techniques

Hey Newbies, I've been so busy today with appointments and trying to finish this baby album that I almost forgot...
IT'S TIP DAY TUESDAY!🗣
Todays Tip is brought to you buy the letter (haha just kidding, bringing back memories or Sesame Street...showing my age).

Today's tip is about discovering new techniques by actual mistakes.

One of my photos in this baby album looks like I used the tear technique when in actuality I had used some mixed media and of course impatient me didn't let it dry before putting on washi tape. After I put on the tape (and used all of that expensive and really pretty Shimmerz and Mists on the background) I decided I didn't like the tape so I pulled it off.

Now, most of you who use Washi tape knows it pulls off pretty easily and doesn't rip a page...UNLESS YOU ARE IMPATIENT AND DIDN'T LET THAT PAGE DRY. So it took every bit of the color off down to the white of the page.

I was so upset and then I looked and thought to myself, self, it kinda looks like the tear technique. So I did it again ON PURPOSE! I liked it that much.
So today's tip is, if you screw up but like it keep it...don't even try to cover it up!
Well there you have it...Tip Day Tuesday!
Happy Scrapping🤗🤗

Tip Day Tuesday - being mindful

Hey Newbies, guess what...It's Tip Day Tuesday🤗🤗

This weeks tip: When working on projects be mindful of what you are doing.

I am famous for working on layouts and not watching where my hands are arms are and end up messing up a picture or part of the background I worked so hard on. I get so excited to finish it that I don't pay attention to the details of what I have already done. Which means more work as in...how the heck do I cover that up🤦‍♀️ So be mindful of what you are doing and you will save time and frustration for sure!

Come join our Facebook page and share anything you are working on, we would love to see it! Also, feel free to invite anyone to our page, the more the merrier!
As always....

Happy Scrapping,
Kimberly

Tip Day Tuesday - Digi Downloads

Hey guys! It's Tip Day Tuesday👩🏻‍🎨
Today's Tip is all about digi downloads. I didn't even know it was a thing until the blog hop I joined! What is a digi download? It's a downloadable PDF file that you buy, say on Etsy (and pretty cheap I might add) to use for scrapbooking or card making.
What's the point of a digi download?
Well, it's basically a stamp you don't have to buy or if you can't find that particular stamp by itself (think stamp sets that you would never use any of them but the one and only one that you want).
It will never go bad;You will never lose it; You will never have to go out and buy that special (expensive) pen/copic marker...as long as your printer has ink you are good;
No hours of coloring just to start over because you didn't like how it turned out - - because most of them come already colored for you (some only provide the black and white (think black stamp on white paper) but 90% of them that I have looked out have both;
Last but not least...Once you downloaded, it's yours to use as many times as you want.
You can print them in different sizes (depending on what you want to use them for -I used mine for the holiday card challenge - see my attached pic below). You can use different papers to print them on and then you fussy cut them and DONE! (ok, fancy word for cut it out of the paper).
I purchased mine from Pink Gem Designs on Etsay, she has the cutest stuff!
So there you have it guys...Tip Day Tuesday!
What are you scraping today?

Come on over to our FB page and Show us your stuff🤗🤗
happy Scrapping,
Kimberly

Tip Day Tuesday - Kits vs Stashes

Good morning guys! Guess what day it is...It's TIP DAY TUESDAY🤗
This weeks Tip Day Tuesday is all about Kits VS Stashes.
I’m not going to lie, when I recently got into scrapbooking again (my neighbor in Fl got me into it about 8 years ago…we did 1 album together…it took a year…and I learned a lot from her! But, in 8 years a LOT has changed in the Scrapbooking world! I went from ripping pages and adding some embellishment- mostly stickers - and a lot of cricut cutting with the first cricut machine (which is a dinosaur now but hey it still works)!
Now there are new fancy words (fussy cutting? Ephemera??) and new mixed media (embossing! Stamping, Cricut Air, oh my)! So when I recently discovered Kits I was blown away (of course I didn’t discover this until AFTER I grew my stash). I mean KITS😱 They put everything together for you with all the matched embellishments and stickers and EPHEMRA, you just create your layout and to really kick into OMG mode! There are even KIT CLUBS where you automatically get a kit every month! (insert HAPPY face here). I just discovered the HIP KIT CLUB GROUP....B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L kits!
Me, I have what’s called a STASH. Where I went into different stores at different times and bought papers (either specialty patterns (think soccer or Walt Disney) or a ream of 50 sheets of solid colors and recently white paper stock, along with Alpha’s, chipboard stickers, rub ons, stickers. I have boxes full of different manufactures (think Pink Paslee, Vicki Boutin, Amy Tangerine).
So basically the difference between a STASH and a KIT is the kit contains all your color coordinated papers, matching embellishments and some even include mixed media (think paint and stencils) sets for you to go to town with.
Your STASH is a collection of odds and ends (hopefully mostly sale items…lol) that you have to put a little more thought into when it comes to creating your page.
So there you have it…Tip Day Tuesday! Happy Scrapping Newbies!
And don’t for get to come join us on our Facebook page to post what you are working on! We love to see it!

Happy Scrapping,
Kimberly

Tip Day Tuesday - spending $1,000 of dollars

TIP DAY TUESDAY:👩🏻‍🎨
This week’s tip is: Don’t feel like you need to go out and spend $1000’s of dollars on a craft room.

As Newbies we want our scrapbooking, card making, craft doing room to be as awesome as we are but that doesn’t mean having the $1,200+ for the ORIGINAL SCRAP BOX, (not that I don't want one but I don't NEED it) nor do you have to spend tons of money on cute little containers from Michael’s (don't get me wrong, I have a few which I feel are essential in order to protect the projects I'm working on).

I manage to set up my craft area with two 4’ tables and a heavy duty shelving unit (we had that we were not using). I use a used box we had from something I had shipped to me (so free) to house all of my paper pads. By putting them upside down I can flip through them quickly and find the color or pattern I’m looking for. (it's not pretty but it works!)
And lastly, when purchasing the cool stuff (yes I wanted one of those carousels and I love it for quick access to lots of stuff) make sure you buy them either on sale or with a coupon.
I'm sharing a couple of videos about me and my scrap room BEFORE I set it up to be nice and neat...it's comical and a MESS! I just gotten back from Fl (family emergency) and all of my orders from FB were waiting for me so it was fun to open them all but dang it was like a kid on Christmas day opening one right after the other so these pics are a mess!

So there you have it…Tip Day Tuesday! Happy Scrapping Newbies! Show us what your scrap room looks like!

Come join us on Facebook and post what you are working on! We love to see it!
Happy Scrapping!

Senior Picture 8 x 8 layout Book, #57-67 of the 365 scrapbook challenge and what lessons I learned with this layout

Hi Newbies,
I'm here working on finishing the 8 x 8 album for my Nephew who is graduating from High School (for the first 9 pages please read through my blog).  This album is so near and dear to my heart because he is Autistic and the struggles my sister had and still has with him are real!  So I wanted to make her a special album to remember his special day.

This album holds 20 pages so I thought I would do 10 pages for one blog and the remaining 10 for another blog just so it's not too overwhelming for anyone to read.

This album will be layouts #57 - 67  of my 365 page layout challenge for 2019!- and yes I do include cards and 8x8 albums as well as my usual 12 x 12 layouts as part of my layout challenge, and FILLER pages (something new I'm doing for this album since I only have 11 pictures) - -just saying😬

I will try to link all of the items used (and possibly where I bought them) just in case you decide you like any of it.  Since this entire album is an 8x8 album there aren't a lot of embellishments that I used.

After the first 8x8 album I did a couple of weeks ago, I lost my fear of doing them and kinda liked it.  I would NOT say they were easier, I mean you are trying to create an awesome layout with embellishments and stickers and stamps and sequence and heat embossing and...well you get it. When you are doing the 8x8's you are very limited on space to create such an amazing layout, especially if the pictures are bigger than 4x6.

For this album I had to try something a little different.  Since the album itself holds 20 layouts, I only had 11 pictures that my sister had sent to me for his photo shoot.  So I had to come up with some filler pages.  Basically, a scrapbook layout without a photo.  I've never done one before so it was fun to do.

SO HERE THEY ARE:

(57) - TITLE: HIP HIP HOORAY
TITLE: "HIP HIP HOORAY"
PHOTO: I backed the photo with colored tissue paper to match the layout.
PAPER: card stock from paper pad purchased at Michael's
TITLE: USED THE STAMPS from my Ranger Letter It Clear Stamp set (CELEBRATION) I used scrap paper from my card stock and also used my SPELLBINDERS SWIRL HEMSTITCH SQUARES NESTABILITITES die to cut it and leave the dots around the edges of the paper to "frame" it.
EPOXY FLAIRS: From my favorite flair shop, SCRAPPIN HAPPY STUDIO, I used the 'TODAY' and 'SHOOT' flair inside the camera lens (and the camera itself came from that shop.  They include it on their packaging so I fussy cut it and used the camera and it worked beautifully for this layout!
GRADUATION STICKERS: They all came from the same collection from PAPER CRAFTS (Michael's)
CHIPBOARDS: The black chipboards (swirly design in upper right corner and the corner piece in lower left corner) were in the same package that I had gotten from a mystery bag I purchased.

(58) - TITLE: JAMES
TITLE: Bubble-A-Bilities (from Hobby Lobby) bubble alphas
PHOTO: Backed by scrap card stock used on one of the previous pages.  Die cut with my Wonky Frames
GRADUATION SAYINGS: The word "CONGRATS" and the "YOU DID IT!' came from EK Success, STICKO collection (Hobby Lobby)
GOLD BALLOONS: I cut the balloons with my Cricut machine out of gold foil paper from Michael's.  The "string" was done by using one of my fancy design scissors and the scrap from the gold foil paper (getting creative).

(59) - CONGRATULATIONS
TITLE: Stamped on to a banner I made with my banner punch using my Ranger Letter it stamp set, heat embossed with Ranger embossing powered in BUTTER CUP and then adhered to the background with brads (from old stash a friend gave me, a little tip for brads, if you don't want to make holes in your layout, the metal part twists off easily and I use a foam dot on the back to stick it down).
PHOTO: backed with a card cut from a page out of one of my HOT BUY pads from Michael's (don't miss out on those deals)!
CHIPBOARD STICKER: the word "DOCUMENTED" from American Crafts, Escape the Ordinary Collection.  I adhered it to a piece of the gold foil paper from Michael's and glued it to the background.
STICKER: The scroll sticker is from the Graduation pack by EK Success, Sticko Collection (Hobby Lobby).
CHIPBOARD STICKER: The black chipboard sticker was from a mystery bag that I purchased.

(60) - KIND & STRONG
TITLE: KIND & STRONG are cut from an amazing HOT BUY pad (that I wished I had gotten 2 of). I used my banner punch on both of them.  I also cut the flower border behind the word LOVE from the same pad.
POCKET CARD: This is from Becky Higgins Project Life (unfortunately they no longer carry this one).
PUZZLE PIECE: Die cut using my die from Stampin Up (it comes with the die and stamps in one set)
LOVE: This is actually a digital download that I fussy cut.
BIG HEART: I punched a heart out of a plastic overlay sheet of hearts from Acherryontop.com.  I've never used this type of "paper" before, a bit hard to punch through but I like the effect.
HEARTS: Punched from the heart EK Success punch I have (it punches in 4 different sizes...I LOVE it!

(61) - CELEBRATE
TITLE: "CELEBRATE" is from Jillibean Soup "Grey Sentiments" collection.
PHOTO: backed with grey stock card using the tear technique on the right side and the bottom.  I used a project life card to add to the bottom (barely sticking out) just to give it a little more pizzaz.
WORDS: From my Tim Holtz Small Talk collection sticker book from Hobby Lobby (I would buy stock in that place...if they sold it)!
EPOXY FLAIR: Is from Scrappin Happy Studio

(62) - WAY TO GO!
TITLE: WAY TO GO! was done using my Cricut machine 3 times and stacked them on top of each other just a little off to show color.
SQUARE SAYINGS: cut from a 12 x 12 sheet of paper I found at Joann's, backed by scrap paper I  cut to size.
BALLOONS: Made by using my Cricut machine and the string was made by cutting the foil paper with my fancy scissors.
BANNER: I used my banner punch from Michaels (this one cuts in 3 different sizes!  L-o-v-e it!
GOLD HEARTS: Used with my EK Success Heart punch.
ALPHAS: His name I used alpha stickers from Echo Park

(63) - MARVELOUS
TITLE: The word "Marvelous" (and the puzzle piece) is from an old (very old) sticker stash a friend gave to me.  I wish I knew where she got it because I love all of the words on it and it's kinda shinny.
PHOTO: backed with scrap paper (SAVE YOUR SCRAPES)!
EPHEMERA: The word 'Great' is from an Ephemera pack from PINKFRESH STUDIO
SWIRLLIES: (I think I just made that up) are cut from my Cricut

(64) - INSPIRE

TITLE: INSPIRE is from that same pack that the word MARVELOUS came from...I keep searching for it but no luck yet!
PHOTO: I backed it with card stock that I used the tear technique at the top and bottom.  It looked really good with this graph paper I cut from a 12 x 12 page from a pad I had.
EPHEMERA: Is from the Vicki Boutin gold accents label stickers
GOLD HEARTS: American Crafts' Goldie collection (Hobby Lobby)

(65) - BELIEVE
TITLE: The word "BELIEVE" the silver hearts and the banner that says Love This Life are from Paper House
PHOTO: I didn't back this photo because the paper I used to adhere it to was kinda awesome.  It was a scrap I flipped upside down to hide the colors that wouldn't work and it left me with this semi-framed page so I went with it! (I think we call that a lesson, used what you have however you can)
HEART: The black and white chipboard heart is something I got from a mystery bag (love those) so not sure where they are from.
PUFFY WORDS: Graduate is also from Paper House (Hobby Lobby)
BLACK DOTS: from Ms. Sparkle & Co (Joann's)

(66) - LIVE FOR THE MOMENT

TITLE: Ephemera pack from PinkFresh Studio
PHOTO: I backed the photo with a scrap (people save your scrapes!) to the right of it and used the tear technique down the one side (I really got carried away with this technique in this album).
STICKERS: All fo the graduation stickers came from the same pack I purchased from Hobby Lobby.
GOLD DOTS: These are actually from an alpha CONFETTI WISHES PHRASE THICKERS pack from PINK PAISLEE
GOLD WORDING: "SMART" is from a scrap paper in one of my HOT BUYS!  I really wish I had gotten 2 of them!
The "I DID IT" sign...he held that up himself!  HE DID IT!!!!🤗

(67) - GRADUATE

TITLE: The title and the other graduation stickers are all from the same pack I purchased from Hobby Lobby.
GOLD STARS: Came in a mystery box I purchased.  It was actually a tag filled with glitter and black and gold stars but I cut it open and used the stars for this layout.
OWL: I made the owl from my Owl punch and heat embossed him in gold.
GOLD STAR: was also from the tag that was filled with glitter and stars
EPOXY FLAIR: From Scrappin happy Studios
SHAKER "CARD": I made a Shaker "card" by stamping the sentiments from my Ranger Letter It clear stamp set on a piece of 12 x 12 I cut.  I added the glitter and sequence and then added vellum on top and glued all sides.  (here comes a LESSON), the glue didn't hold on the bottom so I had to get creative since all of the bits were falling out.  So I had a clear sticker with a sentiment and a swirly  on it that I wasn't using so I let the swirl (or scribble) show and hid the remaining sticker by adhering it to the back to keep the "card" together. That way it didn't show the sentiment and it kept the bits from falling out!  Win-Win situation😬
JOURNALING: I did the journaling using velum paper and adhered it with dots of clear glue and hid that by adding the gold dots from the Pink Paislee Alpha pack.
